It is possible that the cream or gel can temporarily alter your skin texture, making the artist’s job much harder. Be sure to give them the brand name, or even a photo of the product. Alternatively, you can ask your artist for product recommendations that they’ve used with positive results. It’s also wise to share the product’s instructions with your artist so that you can both determine the best course of action for your appointment.
